Foreign Economic Cooperation Office FECO
| The government of China has transferred the
responsibility for the technical realization of the Program Policy
Advisory Service and Environmental Management for Enterprises to FECO.
The responsibility of FECO will be mainly for the Components 1 and
3. FECO is one of the main affiliated institutions of SEPA. It has the legal authorization to execute foreign economic cooperation in the field of environmental protection. On behalf of SEPA the Office takes responsibility for the implementation of environmental programs or projects funded by international organizations such as UNEP, UNDP, UNIDO, the World Bank, ADB, GEF, as well as bilateral or regional funding agencies. It also undertakes routine work for implementing some international environmental agreements in China. |
